Why I Became an Educator
I became an educator because I believe in the power of education to transform lives. I have always strived to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential.
Favorite Activities
I love to swim, read, and spend time with my family. We love to go out to eat and relax on our patio.
Something Unique About Me
I swim on a masters swim team at the Hickory YMCA. Several years ago, my husband and I hiked to the very bottom of the Grand Canyon.
I am honored to become a member of the Oxford school community. As the new principal of Oxford, I am committed to nurturing and inspiring a generation of lifelong learners who will ignite the world with their passion and knowledge
Assistant Principal
Meet Our Assistant Principal
As I concluded my career as an educator and administrator in Illinois, I relocated to Conover. We visited family in the area several times and fell in love with the community.
All my 33 years in education in Illinois were in Peoria Public Schools, and the majority of that time I served in various administrative capacities. I especially loved my last 17 years as an elementary administrator. I am fortunate to be able to continue what I love at Oxford!
My wife of 34 years and I have three adult sons and one daughter in law. We enjoy spending time with them, hiking, and gardening. We are big Chicago Cubs and Bears fans, too!
I have been impressed with the dedication and skill of Oxford’s staff and leadership. I am blessed to help take OES from great to exemplar! I have also enjoyed Oxford’s wonderful students! I look forward to getting to know students, parents, and community members better.
